Affordable Makeup Organization Ideas!

Ever since I started this blog my makeup collection has significantly grown.  It's actually quite embarrassing whenever someone comes into my room... "You have so much... makeup -__-."  After about the 5th of 6th exact comment like that, it was time to get organized!  I sought out some Pinspiration and threw my own little twist to all my DIY makeup organization projects.

So here it is, my four fun ideas to organize makeup:

1.  The Infamous Magnetic Makeup Board
I literally have seen this all over the internet.  But I wanted to throw my own twist to it to make this project my own.  Most of the ladies that did this used one huge makeup board.  I thought it would be nice to use old frames (so I didn't have to spend $ to buy a new one).  I like this idea because if I ever run out of space, I can just add another frame!

I used 4 old 8x10 frames, fabric from Joann's, super strong glue (E 6000 Adhesive Super Strong Glue), metal sheets from Home Depot (I used roofing metal sheets, they were 50 cents each.  I used 4 sheets total because they were pretty much 8x10 in size), scissors (ask the hardware store for scissors strong enough to cut a metal sheet), and magnetics from Walmart (about $1 for 30 magnets from Walmart).

You can always google this to see how it's done, or if you guys would like to see me do it, I'd be happy to make a YouTube video in the future. :)  Here's the finished product:

2.  Dish Rack Turned Makeup Organizer
I don't know about you guys, but if my palettes aren't on display (aka stacked in some closet or shoebox) I won't use them.  I saw this dish rack at the 99 cents store and thought... perfect!  I love this idea, it's literally only a buck, looks so nice, and puts my palettes on display.

3.  Jewelry Organizer Turned Makeup Organizer
So what about my small palettes?  They deserve some display love too, don't ya think?  I found this jewelry organizer for $5.99 at Marshalls and found the perfect way to organize my smaller palettes and other misc makeup.

4.  Bead Organizer Turned Makeup Organizer
Now this is actually my favorite of them all:  the bead organizer from Michaels for $6.99!  This one is especially fun because see the little dividers in between?  You can pull them out and create different sizes!  They turned out to be perfect for my Wet n Wild Trios, Maybelline Color Tattoos, concealers, primers, eyeliners... pretty much any small makeup product!  The best part?  They have lids making them perfectly stackable!

Don't forget that Michaels often offers coupons so always check their website for printable coupons.

Hope you guys enjoyed this post!  What are some fun ways you organize your makeup?!
